MAGIC POTION: Colombia Honey Culturing

This expressive Castillo varietal from Colombia is produced by Julio Madrid in Santa Rosa de Cabal, in the Risaralda region. It’s crafted using a Honey Culturing process, which brings the “Magic” into its name. The method enhances the coffee’s natural structure without overwhelming it, creating lifted fruit clarity that remains gentle rather than sharp.

The cup opens with soft tropical brightness (pink guava and dried mango) followed by a gentle sweetness reminiscent of peach candy. As it cools, the profile settles into deeper, calming notes of oolong tea and brown sugar, creating a balanced finish that lingers with warmth rather than intensity. Refined, layered, and thoughtfully processed, Magic Potion is a coffee that rewards slow sipping and reveals more with every cup.
