ABOUT FINCA DEBORAH

Finca Deborah is a renowned specialty coffee farm nestled in the cloud-covered mountains of Volcán, in Panama’s Chiriquí Highlands. Founded by Jamison Savage in 2008, the farm sits at elevations between 1900 and 2000 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest and most remote coffee plantations in the region. Its volcanic, nutrient-rich soils and cool, humid climate create ideal conditions for cultivating exceptional coffee varieties, particularly the prized Geisha.

Finca Deborah is celebrated for its meticulous harvesting practices—hand-picking only the ripest cherries—and its commitment to sustainability, operating off-grid with solar power and maintaining a shade-grown ecosystem that supports local biodiversity. The farm’s coffees have earned global acclaim, including a win at the 2016 World Barista Championship.
