YEMEN MOHAMED MOSLEH: Anaerobic Natural

Sale price Price $35.00 Regular price $35.00 Unit price  per

This exotic micro-lot was brought to us by our friends at Mokha Not Mokha, and produced by a single farmer, Mohamed Mosleh, in the Al Qafr region of Yemen.

In typical Yemeni fashion, this coffee is highly aromatic, floral and fruit-forward. It is a complex coffee and the flavours change with each sip as the cup cools.

Tasting notes: Plum, Saffron, Rosewater, Cola, Strawberry

Cup score: 90.25 ☕

The producer Mokha not Mocha (Previously known as Sabcomeed) has been our long-term producer partner for a few years. Some of our previous releases from this producer were Al Sanaa, Al Udain and Philosophy.

ABOUT MOHAMED MOSLEH

Mohamed Mosleh has a total of 3 farms in the village of Husn Mokhtar. The majority of people from this region used to work in Sana'a with Schools and the Military before 2014. They left the city due to political and economic circumstances and started farming specialty coffee in the region. Currently, Mohamed Mosleh and his family of 6 run the farm and support the community.

ABOUT AL QAFR REGION

The region of Al Qafr is within the Ibb governorate which is also known as the
“Green Belt” due to its agricultural reputation. The distance from the capital city of Sana’a is about 193 km to the south. However, this year due to changes in routes the distance increased to about 240 km.
