Origin Teas: Dragon Pearls

Dragon Pearls is Jasmine green tea scented with the aroma of Jasmine blossoms. Tea leaves are harvested in the early spring and stored until the late summer when fresh Jasmine flowers are in bloom. Jasmine flowers are picked early in the day when the small petals are tightly closed. The flowers are kept cool until nightfall. During the night, Jasmine flowers open, releasing their fragrance. This is when the tea scenting takes place. The tea is blended with jasmine flowers and stored overnight It takes over four hours for the tea to absorb the fragrance and flavour of the jasmine blossoms. The leaves are then tightly rolled in ball shapes. When placed in hot water they open up.

Available as loose tea or in biodegradable tea sachets.

• Water Temperature - 200°F/93°C for 3-4 mins. 
• Light Tea: 2g per cup (240ml water)
• Strong Tea: 3g per cup (240ml water)

Biodegradable Tea Sachets

The Pyramid Tea Sachets are made from Biodegradable PLA material from Japan. Compared to conventional tea bags these are bigger and can accommodate larger tea leaves, which helps them hold more flavour. The Tetrahedral shape of the sachet allows loose tea to expand during the brewing releasing more flavour with each dip.
