Origin Teas: Sencha

The Sencha is a long flat, pan-fired leaf. With a pale green colour and refreshing taste, it is great for relaxing. Machine harvested and processed with minimal oxidation. This green tea makes a refreshing cup.

Available as loose tea or in biodegradable tea sachets.

Brewing recommendations

• Water Temperature - 200°F/93°C for 3-4 mins.
• Light Tea: 2g per cup (240ml water)
• Strong Tea: 3g per cup (240ml water)

Biodegradable Tea Sachets

The Pyramid Tea Sachets are made from Biodegradable PLA material from Japan. Compared to conventional tea bags these are bigger and can accommodate larger tea leaves, which helps them hold more flavour. The Tetrahedral shape of the sachet allows loose tea to expand during the brewing releasing more flavour with each dip.
